help with defi oil pressure gauge going crazy

hi guys my defi oil pressure gauge is going crazy it jumps up and down all the time from 6 bar to 4 bar then to zero and the warning buzzer goes off constantly very annoying my oil light on my dash dosent come on and everything else is perfect the oil temp and boost gauges are fine and car runs great can any one shed any light on this cheers

wiring fault. Trace back and see if its not caught/snagged on something. I hate defi gauges. Over-rated crap.

depends on what gauge....not all Defi's are over rated crap as you put it steve.

I havent got defis in my car but the older defi gauges are VERY well made.

but +1 on the diagnosis check the wiring back and see if it is all in tact
Are they hooked up to the advanced control meter ?

I've had these things apart and there's not a great deal difference between them and the ones half their price. I put defi in the same catagory as HKS - you pay for the name most of the time. Gauges are purely reference, if you're looking for accurate figures, then data-logging is much more advanced.
I mean, if my oil temp gauge said 80 degree's, i don't expect it to be exactly that figure, my boost gauge shoots so damn quick then goes off the scale its almost useless! The only one i truly look at is oil pressure and its only to see its not falling below a bar.

cheers guys they are hooked up to a controller yeah i can adjust all the settings on the gauges in the car its a slim black box with about 6 buttons on sorry thats all i no as im new to all this
