Need some advice please.
Evo IV, with a V Ecu - professionally fitted.
Symptoms are that after a few miles of running from cold the engine warning light comes on and then after a further 5 to 10 seconds the engine shuts down completely. I switch off ignition, leave for 5 minutes or so then restart and off we go. Normally, as this is a road legal race car, I only run it a few miles once a week so I don't know if it would shut down again on the same run.
Second time it happened I noticed that a vacuum pipe to engine block (?) - I'm not a mechanic - had come off an ivory coloured T piece. Put this back on and thought it had cured the problem, but today it happened again on a m-way slip road roundabout. Nice!
Had the car for a while and this has not occurred before.
Any suggestions welcome.
