Yep that will be them, uprated lifters from Ross sport is best, if you PM Gary@APT he might be able to hook you up

Standard lifters are too small for the job, keep with 3mm but by all means replace them and make sure they are primed before fitting or they will tick straight away

I have been told to go back to standard lifters

My car ticks gets faster with rpm going up can't hear after 2.5k rpm

The mechanic had them out dropped the oil out of them and tested them he thinks there fine but after reading they can still hold oil but be worn springs and stuff so just think it's time to go back to original part as been told a few 3mm ones are dodgy

Buy cheap buy twice. Its simple logic a 3mm hole wont block as easy as a standard one. Either cheap lifters or not primed lifters will perform poor or inconsistant. This is a simple and well known about mod in the evo world. If you want to go with your mechanic its your choice but sounds like he is making a snap decision about going to stock.

I was originally losing power but think it was because the head gasket it's back pulling like a train just ticking now don't no what 3mm ones were put in so I am ordering 3mm tomorrow from rossport emailed him last night and he was a good help also quick reply late on a Saturday night so after talking to him and he informed me that there are cheap shit out there a will give his 3mm ago as he's had no complaints on them and if I do have any issues with them he will sort it out no problem
