Help On Buying An Evo

I want to buy myself either an evo , 8 or 9
was just wondering about common faults and what are the things to look out for when viewing one

also is there really that much difference between the three

If you can, go for the 1X it's got a better engine and turbo that's the main difference really over the 8 and the 7 is pretty much the same a 8.

At the end of the day its a car so look for what you would normally check for, if there is 3 lights on the ayc worry a tad, service history is a must though timing belt to be done first at 45k so make sure that's done if its around that mark.

Take for a decent drive and listen for the strange noises like you normally would

45k or 5 years which ever comes first for the cambelt
