help needed

Getting grinding noise and vibration through pedals.stops when slowing down. Gears seem ok and clutch. What could this be? Also under heavy braking very bad steering wheel shake. Any helpful information would be really appreciated.

Thanks mart will do.ive had front pads done last service.so could be discs.could wheel bearing be possibility? Very frustrating!

how many miles you done on the new pads? and did you bed them in before any heavy braking?

Yeah mate bedded them in .prob 3000 miles.loads left on them. The discs are the original ones. I think .Could have been on since new .I dont know! Never changed rear pads could they cause it.? Cheers marty

Wrap disc most likely , get the disc changed or skimmed

Do you know anyone with a DTI gauge? You could check your discs before you take them off. Also check your wheel bearings, push your caliper pistons in a bit and spin the wheel listen for any rumbling noise.....it could be a couple of different problems. The shaking under braking definatly sounds like discs tho.....and lastly just check your wheels tight......hope you get it sorted
