So last night I go to start my car up and it running pretty rough, after 30 or so seconds the revs would drop and it would cut out/stall. Turning anything on (lights, heater, aircon, etc..) made it cut out sooner.

I've just tried starting it today and it will turn over but wont start. It was find middle of last week and has since been parked up. Any ideas of what could be? It's a standard 9 FQ-340.

Could be alternator related. Try and get it started by jumping it off another car or something. Have you got access to a multimeter?

Sorry for not replying had the thread set to email me when someone replied and haven't had one.

Battery is fine, can't even jump the car off with jump leads on another car.

My knowledge/skills are limited to undoing bolts and replacing stuff. I really don't have the patients to spends hours problem solving, lol. I've booked it in with NR Autosport for them to take a look at next week. Hopefully it's something really stupid and a simple fix.

It was a corroded plug for the fuel pump. All fixed and running sweet now thanks to Nick and the team at NR Autosport :)

Booked in for an MOT tomorrow, bloody money pit evo, lol.
