Help battery

Changed the battery on an evo 7 and while I'm driving The engine will cut out while. Normally happen by give it a bit of boost and I'f I let the rev drop it will cut out. It will start up straight away

The problem as seen to gone away. Been told that when to put in a new battery the ecu need time to reset it self
