That's good to know! I was looking at the P reg evo 4's which see to be between 3-3500. I'd be really happy if I could get a 5 with decent mileage

my plan was when my car goes I was going to have a look on here or post asking if anyone was selling as anyone on here is more likely to look after it more than the average joe.

That's the only reason I was thinking of getting a 4, it seemed I could get a 4 with less than 70k on the clock for 3500 or a 5 with 90k for 4000 upwards, either way I'd be really happy but it's pointing more to a 4 I think so I'll have some cash left for a service if needed and some bells and whistles

All I'm going to say is the 4's tend to suffer from crank walk and cummmmmooooonnnnnnn wide arches of the 5 is sexy

Yh crank walk is another way of sayin new engine needed, it's all down to how the cars been treated before you as there are se that are still goin strong and others not so good you can't tune it too much either

hmm, Im a bit concerned now though lol. Been having a look around and theres hardly any evo 5's with in my price range which is 4k 4200 at a push.

Think I'd be too afraid to get a 4 just incase, hopefully some 5's will pop up closer to the time!

You could always look for a 4 with a 5 or 6 engine in it that's a popular modification, or look for a normal 4 and start saving for a 5 engine while enjoying the car
