I didnt see any stickers linking it to this or the other place. Then again i was busy scratching my head as to why a fire breathing 4wd monster that had obviously had thousands spent on improving it further was so scared of corners.

Whats with the trader status dude? I didnt think selling aspirin to kids in nightclubs would be an approved job role?

Its not bad, had a few runarounds before the gtc whilst i was unemployed but it woked out well in the end.

Its not a bad wee car, itll pull 65mpg on a decent run, 212bhp, 328lb.ft on the dyno so its nippy, its no evo and ill never claim it to be more than it is but by eck its annoyed a few hot hatches.

Realistically id say never. Evos are great dont get me wrong but they have hit what i refer to as the 'cossie dip'. Due to the excessive running costs and escalating fuel prices they became available to those who dont appreciate the marque and want to purely rag one around for 6 months then punt it on. What does this mean to me? Well there are less good ones on the open market and the ones that have had the care and attention they deserve are going to command a premium. Well thats all well and goood and i agree however the former luxury cars and high performance models of alternative badges also fall in price so what would get me a solid 7 will also get me an s4 4.2 v8 convertible. What would get me a good 9 will touch into rs4 territory. Although they are not as much of a weapon as an evo they are far more liveable road car and unlike some who like to think they live on the race track i actually drive on the road an like to take my family to the seaside an if its a comfortable fast drive we would enjoy it more than a harsh lag filled white knuckle event.

I would love an early i really would but most of them are now wearing wolfrace chromies and neon mitsi badges because the wrong people can now afford them. Its horrible to say it in that manner but it is a true reflection of todays society.

Dont get me wrong if the right car came up at the right price id have a go at making it happen but ive been there an done that. Im a petrolhead and want to experience what other peoples vision of automotive excellence is, i dont have a long enough life to keep repeating the evo world.

Plus i want a v8 next anyway lol
