Sorry about the rubbish introduction as I added my first thread whilst I was at work.
I've always had fast cars and up to number 79 now and I can say egos have been the best by far, I'm currently onto my second evolution 5 gsr which I swapped for my 2006 hawkeye 360 bhp / 410 lb/tq from a guy from aberdeen.
The car was imported by Jamie lumley (evo tune) in 2002, and then owned for 10 years by a guy called phil Allen and then the guy I bought it off.
Car is currently pretty much standard with hks hard pipe induction with hks mushroom filter and td05 turbo with a tubular manifold with full decay 3" blitz nur spec R exhaust.
Car was sold as mint but wasn't to be fair but I wasn't too fussed as the subaru stood me about 5k.
Carpet had a small hole where left foot had been rubbing, pulled everything out and to my surprise there was a huge hole in the floor of what could only be explained as a manufacture jack slipped off jacking point and went through the floor. Got tht welded under sealed again and internally painted, started doing bits in the boot and everything looked good until i seen a bit surface rust pushed on it and another hole reveals itself, getting that welded Wednesday with full strip and re-underseal, then cars going for paint around door jams as there's small bits of surface rust which I want sorted. Then remap in February by evo tune. Will make a thread on progress.
