I've had an evo 4 for a few years now - it is still completley standard. I still think they are brilliant cars. I also have the same year Lancer 1.6 MR mivec which I use on a day to day basis especialy in the winter months as the evo is hibanating!

Many thanks for the warm welcome. I live near Battle, East Sussex. I'll see about taking some pics and uploading them. Damn, That's means I'll have to wash the Lancer!

That's right, I know Dan. I remember your evo 4 :-0 Hello again buddy.
Seem to remember you had evo 5 seats in the front of yours but can't remember if the back one were too? I got a set of evo 5 seats the other day but the rear ones won't fit in the Lancer 1.6. Surprised as assumed they were a straight swop. Any ideas?

I'll let you know if the seats don't work out Steveyb but I've been looking for some for ages. The evo 4 ones are much easier to come by but I'd rather not fit them in the Lancer as they are way to loud for it. I'll dig out my camera and get some pics sorted to show you where they are not fitting. Prob should start a new thread?

Few pics

See the 1.6 Lancer Mivec (sometimes known as baby evos) next to a proper evo 4 (my son calls this one Daddy Evo!!) The seats are the fitted Evo 5 ones

Some more pics

Various picks of my 1.6 Lancer. The dash is almost the same as a 4 but the rev counter red lines at 8200 revs as a result of the high revving MIVEC engine - sounds more like a motorbike! The steering wheel is the standard Mitsubishi one sadly. The bonnet is steel and lacks both the NACA duct and the engine cooling vent. The front bumper does not stick out so much as a result of having no intercooler to house. The lights are the same as is the boot but with a smaller spoiler. The rims are Enkei WRC Tarmacs off an Evo 3 with the standard white powercoat removed. It's a nice looking motor but it is debatable whether it could pull off a set of white rims!
