Hi to everyone on this forum. I'm not yet an EVO owner but am hoping to be soon.

I wondered if I could possibly ask for some advice. I'm new to Evos previously having the rival Scooby a few years back. I loved the car but got rid of it due family badgering me to get something sensible. Got a Corsa but after having a fast car I miss the driving experience and am looking at getting an EVO.

I have seen an advert for an EVO Vlll and spoke to the guy on the phone. I really like the look of this car but don't want to go and see it before asking for a bit of advice. The bloke said on phone he won't drop the price anymore as already dropped by 1k which is true as I've been watching for a few weeks. My OH says its way over priced for what it is, but it's got the personalised plate and the full service history. The bloke said he'd get back to me on a PX for the Corsa but I may keep it as a commuting car if I decided to buy.

Does it look any good to you folks? I think it looks pretty sound but would do an HPI check etc if I did go for it.

Any advice is greatly appreciated before throwing a large amount of money at it.
