hi everyone i dont own an evo yet but have a servere hankering for a evo I-III what is the genral opinion on these , which is the best , what are they like for reliability,parts availability , rust etc ? all opinions welcome
btw the car would be used for weekend use in the summer

Hello & Welcome, I cant really offer any such advice on different models what to look out for ie bad points etc, a good service history is a start, then if you know of any 1 that either owns an evo or has good mechanical knowledge take them along to have a good look with you, try and test drive as many models until you get the feel for the right 1, do hpi check on car too if you are settled on buying 1 im sure others on here can give great advice also,,

Welcome aboard!
Im afraid I have little experiance of evos prior to 4 so no specific advice.
But the normal things like smoke, suspension bounce test, brakes, dash lights and clutch slip etc.
With the engine running, press the clutch and if the car suddenly becomes quieter then the noise you didn't realise was there is a worn clutch release bearing.
