as for mods - I know mark has been pleading with me not to , but I am very, very tempted with CPP's HKS7460 package - stock-like spool with a 480 bhp flowing turbo. Whatever route I go - I don't want sacrifice response for masses of BHP.

I hope your getting the engine fully forged before you bolt that bad boy on to it:shock:

Well let me tell you something fella.....i have a fully forged fast road engine capable of 700bhp done by CPP and it's just running (at the moment) standard 6 turbo and injectors running 380/380 and it spools up very quick indeed!

Infact there is a few guys who have been in it that will vouch how quick it is!!!

Get it down fella!! Safety first power later!!! Give my regards to Gaz and Olly!!

in CPP now having a normal service... don't you have to run full forged in for 1000 miles? - what attracts me to the rod job and hks is it's straight out the box use and not so much BHP that transmission needs uprating - although i have no intention to launch or track bar a trip to nurburg and 30-130 next year. lot of decisions to make...

Yep you sure do and doing 1000 miles with no boost is a ...king killer but let me tell you it's worth it in the long run and I also had a RS Diff conversion done as well by CPP, just now got to find time to take it back for the AP front and rear big brake conversion!!

sounds like a beast you're preparing
problem with rod jobs is you haven't got much
room to go beyond about 500 without forging the lot again
so can see it makes sense to do it - can see a load of money
being spent at CPP in next few months lol
