Just wanted to say Hi! I am likin them road tax disc holders, might have to get one!

I'm new to the UK, own a 98' Evo V from Japan. In the US Military and bought her while I was stationed over there for 3 years... Just hoping I can get some recommendations for brands on parts I'm interested in purchasing or repair tips. I want to keep my baby purring!

Black, 135,000 kilometers or so on her, Lookin to get a few things already, just don't know what would be best...

- Need to get my speedometer changed over to MPH from KPH
- New intercooler maybe? got stock and lookin pretty bad...
- blow off valve
- carbon fiber bonnet
-suspension items, dampeners/coilovers/etc.. don't know too much about em!

Hi and welcome mate, I have a very soft spot for the V get some pics up I'm new to the evos but had scoobs for years.... I tend to stick with the well known and built brands .... E.g. HKS, Greddy, blitz etc. You pay a bit more but you know its quality.

- Speedo change, as per post already given
- Intercoolers are expensive especially if you doing it just for looks! Not sure on the 5 but on the 9 the standard intercooler is pretty good up to 400bhp
(common aftermarket ones are Greddy/HKS or a custom one) - looking at 500 notes min though.
- BOV - Turbosmart are loud and proud and seem to get a good following but many out there
- Fibre boonets nice but expensive too (siebon make em)
- Coilovers - Tein S tech highly recommended

Thanks invisible, definitely welcome the info! Question about the speedo change, That's to change a digital speedometer right? I still have my KM/H dashboard so I guess the mph I'm going haha! Are those difficult to change out? Thinking of changing the color of the lights while i'm at it.
