Hi there,
My name is nick, have not yet got an Evo but am looking to get one in the next month or so. I thought with a highly strung car like this it may be advisable to join an owners club first and find out what to look for/avoid when buying. I have previously never owned a Japanese car so wanted to get a bit clued up, previously own an MG ZR 160, and my pride and joy a Peugeot 306 GTi-6 tune to roughly 200bhp tipping the scales at little over a tonne, so ive had some quick cars but now want to go turbocharged and have always loved Evo's.Jjust reached 5 years NCB so now insurance is realistic. I've got my heart set on an Evo V as I just love the looks (still looks like its just been lifted off a rally stage),but may be swayed but the right VI.
Just on here really so get so buyers advice and any suggestions/tips would be much appreciated, and once i have one can get some pics up and get playing with it, will also be attending as many meetings as possible if you guys do that on here, i know on my GTi-6 owners club we like to meet up as much as we can.
