Hello fellow Evo owners, my name's Neil and I have a '97 Evo 4 GSR. I've owned it since 2008 when it was imported into the country & have enjoyed almost every day of ownership!
For 2.5 years it was my daily driver & family motor which meant I spent most of my money on fuel and maintenance bills which stopped me doing any of the big modification plans I had for it.
Since last year though when I bought a cheap daily beater in the form of a VW Polo GT so I've been able to make a start on some of the things I want to do. :)

It was only lightly modified when I got it with Tein EDFC adjustable coilovers, Kakimoto cat back exhaust, an apexi boost gauge and rear tints.

This is how it looked when I got it.

These are the few bits I've done to it.

Evo IX Enkei Wheels, 17x8j.

Evo VI Brembo's front and rear which I refurbed the peeling laquer myself.

3 x motor meter gauges fitted in the centre console, oil temp, oil pressure and volts.

Removed fog light from under rear bumper and modified rear light cluster to accommodate it.

HEL braided brake lines with Motul RBF600 brake fluid.

I've also fitted a HKS air filter, a blox roll stopper front engine mount and polybushed the front & rear anti roll bar bushes, but I don't have any pics of those.

So here's a few pictures...

I've recently debadged the rear end

Fitted a roof rack & lowered the coilovers a bit more

And finally a picture a friend of mine took recently that I'm very happy with

Roof rack on when not in use... erm brings "i wear my sunglasses at night" to mind.:p

you do realize that the roof rack kills your fuel consumption..at least 15% more ,added weight and added drag at speed.

Welcome to the club

Not a fan of roof racks I take? I know its a marmite thing on a performance vehicle but I love how it looks & it is pretty useful.

The wind fairing & the aerobars reduce that 15% figure down to about 10% & to be honest I haven't noticed much change in my mpg since I fitted it. It was bad before & its still bad!!

Also approximately 88% of all statistics are made up on the spot... ;)
