I thought heal toe was part of a Scottish dancing routine. We were taught this at school before the 5th and 6th year Christmas dance parties ! Sadistic teachers in those days

Blimey, I'm going back over 25 years ago when school lunches were free, the belt/strap hadn't been outlawed and the dance teachers were allowed to guide you or your female partner by "hand" if you didn't do the turn but properly during the practice of this dance

All you non Scots wont have a clue what I'm talking about so just ignore me, but you and your partner would go "heal toe, heal toe a 1 2 3 turn" during this mind bendingly F******* embarassing lesson.

The dance believe it or not is called the Gay Gordons

I nearly did lol but like said you need your heal on the floor and not to push it down like a clutch like I did lol

I learned how to do this in my old 306 GTI6 i think this will be hard in the evo as she has a Exedy Twin plate clutch :shock:

I did the first time I tried it but now the Citroen van gets the lfb treatment most the time I'm driving, as it is very good at correcting under steer

Yeah was talking to a racing driver when I was at nurburg. He said he only really does it to gain a bit of control again if he's going a bit too fast ie correcting understeer.

I learnt it in my old ep3, seems a lot easier in the evo as it came with a set of metal pedals with an extra bit on the bottom left of the accelerator.

I do only do it though when driving really hard, managed to kill a set of red stuff's chasing my mates gsxr 600 in the lanes!

Can see how much bigger the metal bit is over the original!

Just to give you an idea of space between them, which makes it very easy!
