Head lights / Tail lights painting black help

Hi guys, basically looking to open my lights up and do them black to get rid of the tacky chrome ... Any advice? I. Know fronts are N oven door job for couple mins to melt the seals, what about backs? Also can I do headlights totally black or will this fail mot? Been told that they need to have some chrome in (just the bits in front of the actual bulbs) to reflect the light correctly to pass mot??? Cheers in advance

Backs can be done and have been done before. Some people.will tell you no..n they cant be done but theybcan. Pm ad-p on here he.did it to his 7rs2 the front are a piece or piss to do. And nope you dont needan chrome all you need to do .is chrome amber bulbs from SilverTech.
