Hi i am new to this website and have just bought an evo 7. It has had a helix organic clutch fitted to the car and when i bought the car was told that you have to clutch down and hold the clutch down to start the engine. The person i bought the car from said this was normal with this type of clutch but i just wanted to check if this sounds ok or if the seller was trying to cover something up. Any help with this would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I had to keep the clutch down on the last evo 7 i had, but that was due to the immobilizer.. Never heard of having to do it just for the clutch though

Ok thanks for the advice people just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything wrong with the car i also think it might have something to do with the immobilizer. The car has a cobra 8185 alarm fitted to it if any one has the same set up let me know.
Thanks
