Hard to select first and second gear when cold ?! help

Hi guys new to evo scene I've had mine for 3 days I've noticed it's very stiff and difficult to select first or second gear when cold any suggestions why this could be

What Mark/year evo is it? have you tried fresh oil first?worst case gearbox rebuild
could even be clutch related!

Evo 8 had clutch and lightened fly wheel in 2010 covered around 12 -15k since

I have a simliar problem with my 6 tbh! i personally think it's syncro related!

When car is upto running temp it's alot better but when cold and first started it's a nightmare to get in gear all other gears sselect without any problems

try changing the box oil first….

Yep get the box oil changed ASAP, also try a bit of double clutching when changing gear, pull the clutch up in neutral and give it a rev, clutch in then select your next gear. This will bring the input shaft speed up to roughly match the output shaft being driven by your wheels this will put less demand on the synchros. If your still having problems it could point to clutch problems.

I have the same problem when it's cold but when warm it's ok on my evo 8
