looks pretty nasty but it's not as bad as it looks apart from some of the fins on the intercooler are pretty much mashed up and i need a new bumper cos it's cracked right through and fibre glass splinters, so the splinters could well be alot further round
And the mesh is all bent in and twisted, the last pic shows the bar that attaches the bumper to the car come through the mesh and disloged from the bumper, the bumper looks wonky and now leans to the right :cry:

then i had a leak but that turned out to nothing more then the air con condensation thank god

A detail ain't gonna cover that crack up now lol

lesson of the day avoid tow bars :cry:

Gutted just about sums it up i need new bumper and then that will need to be sprayed. I'm just relieved the intercooler isn't damaged

yep the crack is all the way around i can lift the two parts and wiggle it

i thought getting it repaired and sprayed was out of the question cos the crack is right round and is only held together by the paint

I use to be a GRP laminator i could mend that EASY a 2oz layup on the rear to hold it back together remove all the flakes and then re-coat in gel coat very simple to do

I could repair that for about 30 and spray for about 100 it's easy u just fill in behind with fibreglass to put the strength back in to it and rub it right back fill the front to shape it and spray job done lol

I would personally re-gel the front that way its less likely to crack or shrink

Silver has to be the worst color to blend unless you fade it in or have an edge to loose it its hard work

ouch never the best, i would say it could be easily repaired if you can find someone that can be bothered to help
