GT or FQ ??? Please help

Hi guys I am new to the site and Evo's, however I am lucky enough to have come into a bit of money and am looking ot buy an Evo.

Now this car is going to be used for the track and sunday drives. I am told that for the track the GT is going to be the ultimate car, and I can have it remapped up to about 400BHP and Torque ?

Does this sound correct to you guys that know about the Evo or am I being told a load of sales stories ? I am sure a lot more questions will come over the next few hours or days but after my last horror stroy with an ALFA I really do want to get this purchase right

The GT will be a better car for track use but a bit less refined for road use.

you will be able to get 400/400 out of both standard engines (with supporting mods)

if you want the car more for track use then I'd say the GT and if you want it more for road use then I'd go with the FQ (all personal preference)
