Hi all,

Finally got the car delivered yesterday, looks good, needs ALOT of TLC, LOADS INFACT!!

Drove it half mile down the road.....stopped!.. :meh:

AA called out... fuel pump dead!!!...

Now, I see this as an opportunity to whack in an uprated jobbie?? how easy is it to change the fuel pump folks?

I did on my 4
cut on edge of inner lid to lift out
when you refit just join with very short piece of fuel line

Hi guys,

Thanx for the advice, much appreciated! looks like someone has already changed pump as the lines are now rubber jobbies?

Popped to Halfrauds yesterday and got meself a nice tool kit, (50% off folks!) guessing I will need it now I have an Evo! :whistling:

All i need now is an expert to come over and diagnose the strange diff problems?? It's on it's second diff??

hmm evo 4's normally don't have prob with the ayc like the newer evo's do.not saying there bullet proof! So is your ayc light on? Or is there noise or a clucking sound from the diff or rear end? :)

Hi mate,

AYC light off, but when the AA bloke took her off his truck he noticed a noise and the wheels didnt seem to want to free wheel when it was rolling??

I am waiting for a fuel pump as it died the day I had it..
