Going to bore my e5 out has any body done this yet ?

Hi I have got an evo 5 which is already forged bottom end but I have another motor in my shed and wanted to bored it out to a 2.2 with a fully forged bottom end and a bigger turbo with some head work has any body done this on here and if so what kind of power figures have you got ?

And also what kind of pistons and rods and cams are people running my current engine in the car is running cp pistons and rods and I was thinking about using them in my other engine :confused:

It's the distance from the centre of the crank main journal to the centre of the crank big end journal, stock is 88mm, you can increase this to 94mm or 100mm, in conjunction with different rods lengths and piston gudgeon pin configuration, different engine sizes can be achieved

Apart from increasing bore size

I am with you now I have all ready looked at some kits on the net and that is what I am after cheers for the info and hope fully the next time you hear from me its will be to say its up and running

Different pistons and different crank!!
Giving you a bigger capacity... By increasing the stroke of the crank.. Hence a stroker engine :cool:
