.....coz i just bought an evo 8 to the town!

Hello to everyone on this forum. New evo owner, always been my dream car since young. The days of Gran Turismo and Need for Speed to experience a fast car are now gone!

Im 27. 10 yrs ago i said to myself one day I want a white Tommi Mackinen Evo 6 which I fell in love with back then. Today, I have a 377bhp evo 8 and its the best thing ive ever owned or driven. A smile to my face everytime I drive it.

I havent seen any other evos around here but im hoping I do. mutual respect amongst us lot im sure!

Naz1 is from Welwyn Garden City so just around the corner really.

I used to wave at fellow Evo drivers until I once waved at one opposite me in traffic and he asked if I was a bender

Since then I have decided that it is wise if I just blow kisses at them which I find get's better results all round

People keep telling me to change my rims. Its doing my head in! Ok, maybe i could do with a rim upgrade but i dont 18s on the car (handling, comfort, tyre cost, etc) so i dont feel i need to buy another set of 17s either. Honestly, what do you think??

You really aught to be changing them buddy.

They would be more suited on the I,II or III, maybe even a Honda Civic hatch back

El, 17s or 18s? I've had the car lowered with eibachs, having bilsteins b8s put in soon as well. I think 18s might ruin the whole ride but i dont know.

And also, what colour rims??

17's will be just fine at that ride height buddy.

As for colour, maybe chrome???

Nice mota you have, els right, you wanna get shot of them rims pal they look kind of like what you would have on a saxo or a pulsar.

It's your car mate and you should do what you like and not what others like

But they are right in saying you should change them lol. Maybe get a set of evo 9 wheels or even 8MR wheels so you don't have to change tyres.

You could get some wheels in black and put a red lip round them? There's a lot of things you could do. Get on some alloy wheel sites and mess around on there. Can't remember which ones have the option to try rims on a picture of your car!!

Nice Evo bro nice colour too, think if you really want to change the look of the rims then you cant go wrong with chrome as other peeps on here have suggested. But at the end of the day it is all down to ur taste m8 and no one elses
