Gear box???

Guys

Will I be able to put a 6 speed box on my 8 gsr from an fq model?

If so what would be the best box

Straight swap if theyre both 6 speed

you can swap a 5speed to a 6speed. I have done a few.

what type of driving do you do? and how do you drive the car? and what power will you be putting though the box? also what car is it on? evo 4-7?

You'll need the shifter cables too.

And the upper gearbox mount.

-you also have to mod where the cables go through the bulkhead.
-you'll need the internal gearstick and mounts as well which need modding.
-oh and you'll find you will have to mod the centre consol so you can select 3rd and 5th without the gearstick getting stuck on the trims.

there is a fair bit of work invloved more than just a box swap
