Well Xtreme recently sold a very low mileage standard Evo VI GSR for nearly £14k...
I think clean low mileage standard/nearly standard examples will creep up in value.
The VI is THE iconic rally Evo, the one that everyone thinks of when you mention an Evo. And they didn't make many to start with, they certainly aren't what you'd call mass produced.
Mate just sold a standard TME for over £20k

^^^^ try and sell it at 10k+....it will stay in your garage

I sold a absolute split mint mak in red....full history 32/36k , 4 + years ago

Best offer I could get was 9k

They are sorry to say worthless nowadays .....I paid 9k last month for a white 9 , the wheels alone are £2k's worth, to make it a mint car it wants £500 spending on it

Mate sold his standard red TME for £20k very recently, very low miles FSH, never used in rain etc.
It sold within a day of him advertising it

I was fairly recently offered £8500 cash for my VI (400bhp, 70k miles, FSH) and turned it down...

You cant compare car prices like a IX and VIII to a VI, the VI is a iconic car and to the right person will demand good money. Its like comparing a new focus RS that can be had for 16/17k to a 26 year old 3 door sierra RS that fetch in excess of 20k now. Some thing is worth what some one is willing to pay.
