Hi,
Probably the most Southerly UK Evo lover says hello!
Loved EVO's for years even though I've never owned one yet! Been Vauxhall through and through but my 267 BHP Cavalier Turbo had to go before my move to the Falklands.
Now I need a toy, instead of the usual Landrover, Pajero or Surf that you see down here. I'm a true petrol head, a landrover would be practical offroad but it wont thrill me to 60 in 5 seconds!
The problems I've got are shipping one here, the fuels 95 octane, and the roads are pure rally surface. I can ship from UK or maybe Japan, maybe use octane boosters, and switch to 15" rims with gravel tyres.
Do you think it's a good idea to let a Evo loose down here? I know everyone here will want a ride!
Please help me decide, otherwise I'm getting a Utilities Landrover 110 van!
Ben.
