Hi there, I am a newbie so apologies if I am posting in the wrong place but I am need of a bit of help!
I have an Evo IV which needed the clutch replacing so to do this I removed the engine changed the clutch and cam belt while it was accessible. The engine is now back in and cannot start it anymore as the fuel pump doesn't appear to kick in. Below is a list of checks I have made with my findings:
Fuses ok
Checked both relays which are fine
Resistor measures fine
No errors on ECU
When turning key I am getting 8V to relay 2 but it will not switch over. Pretty sure this is due to the ECU because if I bypass it the relay operates.
Is there anything in the ECU that will allow relay 1 to operate but not relay 2?
Any guidance would be much appreciated.
