Fuel guage

Hi all
Just got an EVO 6. love the car. The fuel gauge seems to fluctuate from three quarters to a quarter full any sugestions

mine went when i had the fuel pump uprated cant think of the part tho? Will look at service sheet when i get back. Now it seem's drop when driving fast and goes back up when you slow down? All most like it's trying you how much fuel you not going have if you don't slow down lol

Thanks t has had uprated fuel pump, forged pstons etc etc. So it may be the problem.

Funny mine does the same and from what I've heard it's a common issue lol mine will drop to just below half then when you give the car some stick it goes back up to just above 3/4 lol

Its because of the saddle bag setup with the fuel tank and where the fuel gauge sensor is situated. I believe it only reads from 1 tank. So it takes time for the fuel to filter across to the side with the sensor.
