front speaker amp trouble??

Need some problem solving help!
my front speakers have stopped working, i have one 4 channel amp powering the front and rear speakers and another 4 channel amp powering to 8'' subs.
checks i've done so far:
checked fron speakers are wired still on the amp and speakers (they are)
checked front speakers actually work on something else (they do)
checked fuses on the amp's
checked the rca connections are all plugged in

the only thing i can think of is the amp has gone up it?? it's a kicker amp about 2 years and was bought new, but it's odd the way the rears still work ok. If i touch the rca leads on and off the terminals for the fronts i do get the feedback you get from doing this suggesting there is a connection?? any one got any suggestions as i'm all out of ideas!

Do. The rear speakers work on the channel you have the front speakers on? If not you have a dodgy channel so jus run both on one, or can you bridge the channels? If not again channels dudd so new amp needed

good thinking, i'll try that tomorrow...
hope the amp isn't knackered, it's only 2 years old and i bought a kicker amp as they're usually pretty solid, got feeling it might be though

checked the front speakers on the rear terminals this morning and they come on fine, also did the same with the rca's to rule those out, 2 year old kicker amp, not happy, can it be repaired?

If you still have receipt and if its just under 2 years get it repaired under warranty, if not I'm sure you can have it repaired but not a clue where

update! and good news for a change...
After pondering over this at work i convinced my self i hadn't check the rca's properly. I checked everything on the rca's and in the end found one that's not working, result!
Basically i have 2 pairs of rca's on my head unit, one set for the front and one set for the rears. Rears go to the sub amp and are split 2 into 4, these are fine.
The fronts go to the other amp and are split 2 in to 4 so i have control over the fronts and the rears as they're different speakers. Upon removing the spliters and trying the rca's direct from the head unit to the amp i found one not working and it's the one i split to contol the front speakers. I've recently fitted the binary seat brackets on my drivers seat and wonder if i nicked an rca or something, either way good news all round as it's the cheapest component to replace, i also tested the amp with some spare rca's i have and went direct from the head unit to the amp to make sure it wasn't a fault with the head unit. thanks for the help and input guy's and problem solved

Good you got it solved mate. This is a headache I don't miss, I got rid of all my system and just have my speakers running off the head unit now lol
