Hi guys and gals , just a quick question my new evo4 needs the front n/s drop link replaced as I have a clunking / knock from that corner going over even the smallest of bumps , was just wanting to know if it's a job I could do myself or if its really a garage job? Am no mechanic but am not to bad confident enough (I think lol)
Car also has an oil leek or maybe did have as it is an advisory on mot it passed in sept .but still causing a nice mess on my driveway . Not really had the chance to inv where it's coming from yet . But dip stick has some insulating tape around it . I think to help it fit in tube better ? Is this a usual issue ? And the plastic cover on the rocker cover has three of the four fixings missing ....the holes are full of oil ... But they can't cause a leek can they ? The front of engine is clean and dry it really the back side that's coated ! Need some nicer weather to get in there and give it a good clean up ....sorry for going on and on and on lol am just 1 of those guys that cant stand havin anything wrong with my new toy !!! Really appreciate any hel / advise .
