apollo....
there should be a website with photos that the manufacturer of the kit hosts. if you have bought it off ebay then get in touch with the chap. if not, then look at the packageing, there will be a website to log onto.

once you have got it set up, please get in touch with us here and let is know the dilly.
ALWAYS WONDERED IF THOSE SILLY THINGS WORKED LOL!
Let us know what top speed you hit and what the fuel consumption has changed to aswell.

I found the speed sensor on the gearbox i did have a look at the website that came with the gadget kilburne.com but no pics to be honest it took me longer to find the sensor then fit the thing

it works 100% perfect speedo reads same as my road angel so thats all good as for the fuel i have only had the car for a week so i couldnt really say if there is a difference

as for the top speed i ran out of road so until i get a good run i dont know with that iether

but for £25 of ebay not bad going i would say but who knows how long it will last but i have seen a similar thing fitted for £150 which is a little expensive for 10 min work once you have found the sensor

if anyone else is having trouble give me a shout i will email a pic of where to find it

google doesnt help looked for ages for the location of the sensor no joy!!

nice!
what do you mean you ran out of road???lol
if you can find a decent stretch of road and get to 118/120mph then i would say that the jobs a goodun'.
keep us posted please.
as the cars a fresh import i suggest you change ALL of the oils and filters. the fuel filters the tricky one but you should be able to change the others yourself quite easily though. you might want to change the thermostat too and the coolant while your at it!
total DIY cost around £75/£120 depending on where you get the bits from.
AT THE VERY LEAST YOU SHOULD CHANGE ALL THE GEAR/DIF OILS & AYC FLUID, OR YOU WILL REGRET IT LATER ON.
which town are you from anyways?

i passed the 112 mark then got scared road was a up and down one lol and a gap between me and the clapped out fiesta infront was quickly getting less

i want the AYC doing but dont know where to go !!

i have just got a Blitz racing oil filter so going to put some mobil 1 in on the next nice day the service history is full on this car every service since new up to 2000 miles ago every 4000 miles and it looks genuin i have wax oiled the underneath aswell i have seen the states they can get in and for the sake of a 15 min job i cannot understand why people dont do it

looks like i need a clucth too but seen a chap on ebay that does it for £400 all in so might give that ago.

yeh, definately get the AYC done. £400 all in on the clutch??? is that supply and fit or what?????
mmm...... bradistan huh!!!!
if you ever need tyres up them sides then give me a shout, i got some serious links in that department.
as for a local man that will see you right, i dont know who is good on the evo's up there. scoobies maybe but not the evo's.
if you wanna make a day of it then there is a "top man" in birmingham that will see you right and he's a pro on the evo's specialising in re-builds and performance engineering. prices are tastey too!
you can call him on 07961353381: Raofy. some days he has around 5 evos in at one time!!! tell him you got the number from evoowners, he will look after you.
if you ever need bits for the 4 then give me shout too.
as for the service manual: i would still get the oils changed regardless, at least you are POSITIVE that there done.
