If the guy is still trading, which he obviously is, as long as those who have been ripped off can provide evidence of making payment for goods that were subsequently not received, both Trading Standards & the Police Force will have no problem in investigating.

An other common one is (coming from Astra VXR before) people 'breaking astra VXR burg' leather... Remus... etc at silly prices
And only dealing with cash transfers etc... No paypal.

No paypal/bank transfer generally rings alarm bells.

Oh my god... ive just been on ebay looking at forged dngine parts & engines and hes got a full forged engine complete with turbo & manifold advertised for £1850!!!! I mailed and said I smell a rat, any chance of coming to see it just to be told its against company policy, they dont allow collection either!

Good idea but better all round if we get a pro involved.
Trust me it's going to better if we make El deal with it. He's dealt with rats like these before and colluded with the Police plenty of times on stuff like this and on behalf of MLR when they couldn't do anything about 2 specific members ripping off other members through dodgy user names and egay IDs.
He knows how to finish these guys off with a couple of posts. I'm surprised he ain't done it already.

Thats what I thought. I also thought paypal would ensure that money was paid back as well unless hes shipping something other than engines so hes able to provide tracking number etc??.... Get El on the case, hope he sorts this Arsehole!

If you pay bank transfer they can't help you at all. Any way these rats must have good excuses all round to be getting away with it this long.

He said he only accepts paypal & wont allow collection and wont allow you to go & pay cash! I asked him how he could sell a supposed fully forged engine complete with manifold & turbo so cheap & was told "Because thats all it owes me!" Haha The parts alone would cost more than that even for bargain basement parts! I hope he gets his comeupance!!

This is El in action. He bangs them out in minutes. He finds all of their user names on every forum and egay IDs and gives them a chance to come clean before he shows everyone their true colours. It's scary how much he can find out about someone when he really wants to. He's like Columbo but instead of a shed he rolls around in an evo pmsl. There's loads of threads like these you just need to look for them...............
