FQ330 Evo 8 What is it worth?

I have found an evo 8 fq330 local to me for sale I was just wondering what you guys think to the price.
It is a 2004 plate.
27,000 miles
He has owned it from new.
Full ralliart service history.
Running 400/400
Walbro pump
Ecutek map
Intercooler
Coilovers
Bigger front brakes
All carbon fibre bits including interior...dash etc.

It seems like a very clean car and Im drawn to buying it but I dont know if the asking price is a bit high.
It was advertised for £11,500
But he said he would take £10,500 no less.

What do you guys think?

Its not online any more the ad expired but he hasnt renewed it....apparant he had a load of ****s viewing it constantly.

What else do you want to know im pretty sure I can remember most of the spec etc.

sounds like a good price to me.

My only advice would be don't be fooled by spec!

Sure it's a nice spec for the money but remember if other components are weak or on their way out they can cost you!

Check the usual suspects, clutch, gearbox, any odd whinning noises, boosts and pulls good etc.

Dont assume cause its only done 20 odd K miles it will all be fine (speaking from experience - I purchased my 9 with only 26K on the clock - crunch in 2nd and 5th gear, poor boost and cracked exhaust manifold)

Not saying anything wrong with the 8 you are looking at, it sounds good and has good spec, just go in with eyes wide open and not shut like mine were!!!

Evidence of 400/400 ???

More and more seem to be selling saying it's 400/400 and I find it hard to believe on the spec they say. But it gets every buyers eye fixed on the figure :/

Price sounds about right seen a couple Evo 8's similar spec and mileage for that price or there abouts

Here is the for sale thread. I test drove it and there is none of that. The car seems sound.

And I would say it is running at least 360bhp, but I will have it on the rolling road the day I get it.

He seems honest to me and didn't want to budge on price much which tells me it's a good car, I went up there a few days ago and he took me out, it seems spot on.
Just going to have a look underneath it tonight and I'll hand over the agreed amount if all works out...... Excited much lol

A friend of mine has put me and the car on his traders policy until my birthday so I can have a little drive in it straight away

That's a nice clean genuine car by the looks it with some good mods. Get it bought

All I can say is wow......the guy who owned it was so organised ...he had all of the original parts (that he replaced with mods) in boxes neatly packed into holdels lol
The car is like its just come off of the forecourt....drives so tight. Couldn't fault it.

Agreed on 10k and I'm over the moon, got a folder rammed with receipts and dynos proving 385bhp.....receipts for every part he's ever put on it.
I was grinning ear to ear on the drive home..... I've literally just got home and I'm buzzing lol

Pics will be taken for you all tomorrow so watch this space....she's also going straight on my mates dyno and having a thorough going over.

Already booked in to be mopped and the lacquer on spoiler to be redone.

As you can probably tell I'm one happy bunny
