Fq 340 front brakes shudder?

Fitted brand new discs and pads on my fq 340 but still no better engine know if this a common problem and eny ideas on how to sort it?cheers

could be worn bushes or ball joint , think you need someone to check that for you :sad:

Yeah bin through the front end but alls well,only seems to do it when I push it hard witch is all the time I'm thinking the pads mite b abit hard and heating up and worping the discs,cheers bigred

what pads you using mate?

Only had the car a month and when I got I it front pads rite down so jst stuck some mintex ones in but they shudnt be this bad,was thinking of getting some ebc red stuff and trying them

Could be a bent rim mate...

Or buckled which ever... easy done if u hit a pot hole

that is possible, try changing front wheels to the back see if that helps

I will stick it on wheel balancer tmora and see,it seams 2 when I brake hard from 120 and getts worse nice 1 vinny,see you got a 340 got eny gud mod suggestions?

no worries mate i would defo try it you can see it if it is ... yeah its had a few mate depends how far you wana go with it and what sort of power u want??....:awesome:

hi all, ive got an Evo X and its shuddering bad now under braking. Someone said i should get a new set of pads and discs for the front. They look ok to me from the outside! seems a bit extreme?! when i bought it a few months ago, the wheels were all out of balance. got new tyres etc, but maybe its had a whack in the past...?
whats the best thing to do at a reasonable price?

i have the same problem even after changing to new discs and pads.

got a set of yellow stuffed... seems solving the problem...

ABS might be a problem...
