FPV Quadcopter Underwater Crash!

Hi All,

CamSump and I went to revisit Burrator Reservoir on a beautiful sunny day. My Quadcopter gets two unintentional dunks into fresh water all captured by my GoPro Black in its water proof case. My Quadcopter is not water proofed at all so it was a big risk flying over water at any time but I find it adds to the excitement and joy of flying FPV close proximity. The last crash is due to me flying past the time when I know I should of landed but I thought to myself "Oh just one more time for luck"...oh dear

Well the last 2 days have been hell, Saturday I lost the quad in a river, after an hour of diving in 10 foot cold water we had to give up and call in a friend who does scuba to help the next day.... I got it back and some incredible footage! I will find out in the next few days if any electronics survived after 24 hours in mineral rich water. Full video to come.

Cheers guys, The Quadcopter costs about £300 in the air but then add lots of £ for the GoPro and FPV gear that goes with it. Luckily after this crash the quad was in perfect working order, I did not have to replace one component which I was amazed by.
