Right have just sorted out a deal on a fp green, only issue is they are going to keep their stock 9 j pipe and wondered if I will have nay issues with using an 8? Or will I need a 9 version.. Seen that article by rob about turbo variations so guessing I may do..

Decision is if to fork out for a aftermarket manifold or hope I won't have any fitting issues on the stock one..

Any info much appreciated

You should be able to get a fitting kit for the fp!

If they required the 9 J pipe to fit it then you will aswell.

Aftermarket manifold won't make much difference unless it alters the position of the turbo ...

Yeah not really looked, but guessing so..

Just ordered if an aftermarket mani moves the position at all as the 9 mani makes the turbo sit different to that on an 8..from what I remember

Exhaust main is the same. The 9 J pipe corrects the position to go around the starter.
