Fitting a Evo 8 Intercooler on a Evo 6

From comparing Intercooler pictures I can see the top bracket is centralised on the evo 8 while on the evo 6 it is to the right.

Bottom brackets will fit and are identical only the top bracket is different

What's the easiest way to modify a top bracket and how without bending it?

Just use a bit of flat metal bar to link the fixing points together.

Custom brackets are very simple to do i have made a ton myself. Find your choice of metal from a local hardware store (i prefer aluminum) and if you have a drill and some bits you are all set. Just make sure to measure and mark. Aluminum is very easy to cut with tin snips or a dremel fyi.
