First Evo, 5 or 6?

Nice car that red one.. So what about the gsr? Is that like the bottom league evo?

Or to put it simple what is the best 5 model to get and the quickiest, not bothered about top end speed. Just wanna pin pushing accleration

No.

With the 5 & 6 there were only really 2 versions.
The GSR had the recaro seats, brembo's, climate control, leccy windows, AYC etc.
The RS had Nissan Micra seats, no leccy windows, no ABS, no AYC (It had a mechanical rear diff),15" steel wheels.

The GSR is for the road. The RS is for rallying and is full of cheap bits that race teams would throw away.

I get ya, so the GSR is the one to get That's good then coz their easier to find, the majoirty of them for sale are that style. Nice one thanks

folks that track them will tell you the RS is the one to get as it has the mechanical rear diff. Personally I couldn't live with one.
I like a bit of crature comforts. You'd have to spend a small fortune to upgrade all the cheap bits.

RS's can be found with brembo's, decent seats etc but they normally command a decent price and would probably be out of your budget.

The GSR seems good enough any way with the seats and AYC and climate control i'd be happy with that
