Can any members please give me theier opinions as to why I should use the e4 as an everyday car and not just a weekend car. I only ask as the way the economy is going its getting harder and harder trying to keep the e4 plus the renault scenic which is used for week runs to and fro from work. My heart says try and keep both but my head says get shot of the scenic.:hm:

My 8 is my everyday car how ever I am only walking distance from work, but I would drive the evo as long as it wasn't ridiculous. Why not mix it up a bit use the scenic some days and the evo when your feeling fun, flip a coin...... What I'm trying to say is if I have to go great distance I tend to pinch the old dears car as its a hell of a lot cheaper to run

I filled mine up at the weekend and it was "only" £1.34.9
I was quite chuffed at that price. Only reason I'm using it is my exhaust snapped on my little pug 106 and I ordered the wrong part to fix it :(

Is good fun driving to work though :)

I'd recommend selling the scenic and getting a little 1.0 banger. 106, saxo etc.
Makes the EVO feel special every time you drive it.

if its kept as a weekend car I've found that you enjoy/appreciate the car a lot more.

I once considered buying something a bit more sensible as my daily drive. I then got stuck with a Toyota Corrola hire car for a week and decided against it ;)

if its down to doing lots of miles then i would buy a cheap runner and save the evo for a weekend toy, i used to use mine every day when i first bought it but found that when fuel reached about a £1 a litre i bought a cheap runner and due to that reason i still have my evo 6 cumming up for 4 years plus i dont have to worry about the hassle of leaving it in car parks etc....

Sell the Scenic m8 , get a little runner around and keep the Evo simple
Scenic must be heavy on juice coz couple of lads in work have got them and thier saying they drink the petrol ,I got a 1.4 MG ZR for my run around, does everything going the tip etc etc .
