few updates ov my 8 with pics advise needed

hi guys few updates on the car ive carbon wrapped my side spats and splitter not to everyones taste i no but they were badly stone chipped and i didnt have the funds to replace with carbon so i wrapped then plus it only cost a tenner from fleebay and a few stressfull hours. and ive painted my calipers black and got white brembo stickers and also got my private plate on but the small plate on the front has to come off as i got a nice £60 fine from are nice friends lol . but the main thing is that ive had my wheels powder coated black and although i love them i feel that something dosent quite look right they look good from the back and front of the car but when you look at the side from close up and from a distance they just dont stand out atall and from a distance you cant really make out the spokes i dont no if its the black wheels with the black tyres or just the design of the wheels that just set the car off or maybe its just me lol .so i was thinking i mite lower it a bit more maybe 15mm all round and thought about some red or white rim tape but not sure so please let me no what you think cheers i no the car is filthy ive been out all day tne rims are much more gloss lookin without the brake dust lol

I see what you mean, see if there is anyone that can Photoshop you some white rim tape on to see what you think. Why did they do you for that plate, doesn't look any smaller than myne. I've used jap size lettering on myne and I've never been done yet.

maybe its just me then lol but im not sure if any one has the time it would be much appreciated if some one could do it on photoshop please as for the plate it is very small about 9 inches i thin so very illegal soi have ordered a standard jap size to go back on

Rite I've lowered it 15mm more all round it looks a bit better anyone got any ideas or any info and what are people's thoughts on the rim tape

I was like that lol I didn't want any other colour and knew I would have to more likely get an import as there arnt many white uk models out there so I waited and it came up I'm glad I did coz I havnt seen another 1 yet but now I've said that I will probabaly see one tmoz haha

Looks nice even though not a fan of black wheels. The tape should make them stand out. Personally, I'd paint them grey, white or red

In hindsight I may of got them painted in anthracite but isn't it a wonderfull thing lol rite then so what colour rim tape lads

thing with black wheels mate is they need to be clean and shiny! Try waxing them! I find that help`s.try for a mirror finish like the car!

That's a good idea mate cheers I like that a lot I will give it a good clean and wax on Sunday if I feel up to it as I'm going to Liverpool on a all day drinking session with about 15 of the lads so don't no wot state I'm gona be in on Sunday lol but if I do I will post more pics when it's nice and shiny

looks good bud, maybe the white rim line would just break up the black on the wheels and still match your colour theme. good job on the vinyl wrap too, i struggle just putting a screen protector on my phone let alone try something like that

Cheers mate I think the white rim tape would look good like you say to break up the wheel and tyre the wrap on the side spats went on quite easy but the splitter was very hard to do in one peice it took two of us and a lot of help from a heat gun to stretch it and up close it's not that great to be honest a few creases an bubbles but most people don't notice them so its ok for now any one else agree on the white tape??????
