fault code 82 ayc

Well managed to work out how to read the codes today on my evo 4 after having ayc light coming on/off since last weekend lol.i know what the code is but what/how exactly do i need to do with it next?,and also is it still ok to drive(as i have been anyway)without causing any sort of damage etc? Thanks.

Driving it wont cause any damage. If the light is on the system turns off. Hook a gauge up to the pump and see what pressure it is pumping. Could just be a pressure sensor. Might also be worth replacing the fluid if not been done recently.

thanks for that mate,at least i can sill drive itjust wanted to be sure.i think i2ll have to let my local dealer(who are pretty good to be fair)check the pump out for me then,hopefully its just a sensor,as far as im aware the fluid was done a few months ago,thanks.

pump fail usually means exactly that. the corode from inside

im about to test a refurbed pump if your interested ??
