Fault code 21

Got a fault 21 temp sensor on the evo iv, think this is causing the car to idle wildly, but i believe there are two temp sensors, just need this correcting for me, plus location of said fault 21 sensor, i know there is a temp sensor on the thermersat housing is this the baby?????

i believe the 2 sensor's are both in the housing the one for the gauge on the dash is a single wire type and the one for the ecu is a 2 wire one . shore some one will correct me if i am wrong :O)

only buy a oe sensor from mit's
