Did mine today. Took about an hour lol

Rinse, spray, power wash, wash, spray on wax from auto glym.. Done

I'm a driver not a polisher :whistling:

You dont need to go mad Lee, let the lime prime do the work and work over areas where you think are heavily swirled or fine scratches a few times and it will work well !!!

Dont forget to polish up after , then seal it and wax it !

Geof Black hole is best used after the limeprime, ive got some for light cars white diamond or something diamond...Nickys bang on its the nuts !

It doesnt last on car too long butfills in all those little nasties lovely !

Just a quick question for ya nick

My car has been compounded at some stage I can tell by lookin at it when polished her I got good results but I feel the paint is a bit dead lookin

Do you ever find once a car has been compounded it's harder to get a shine on it or should I get somebody to compound it again?

But that kit has a surface cleanser in it which is the same as what lime prime does ?!

Do it by hand Lee, get some AG resin pokish or megs high crystal polish any polish will work you could also use some poorboys white diamonf to hide swirls.

On applicator it depends on how bad she is marked, swirled as Nicky said a cutting pad will do IF its bad, but a normal applicator pad should do in most cases.

Depending on polish (always read the label) and do as it says on bottle normally work in to panel and allow to haze then polish off with a clean micro fibre buff to shine

Then wax it or seal it then wax it !!!

Before all this you should decontamanise the paint work with snow foam, wash,clay and tar remover

The thing is with compound is that it is to harsh and if you keep compounding it will take a lot of paint off:disgusted: You need to use a finer polish to create a slick wet look finish

Look for a slightly abrasive cleaner/polish like lime prime or lime prime lite , then use a polish/glaze over the top and dont forget a decent wax to keep the shine going !!
