Right,I've recently purchased a evo 4.
Changed the thermostat as it was shot and then realised the fan wasn't kicking in,so I've changed the temperature sender for the fan and no joy.
I've just been out to investigate and found the fuse box for the fans(under the bonnet) all fuses are fine but there's one of the relays missing in it:hm:
I'm now thinking this is my problem . Could someone with an evo 4 have a look at their fuse box and let me know what you find? It's located under the bonnet on the drivers side where the suspension strut is :)

Have you got the standard fan on still mate!

I had a very similar thing on a Range Rover V8 a few year's back and it turned out a relay was missing as they had fitted a kenlowe fan with it's own relay pack and had removed the standard really pack and not fitted it back in when they removed the kenlowe fan before selling the vehicle:hm:
