hi guyz!...i just notice a some hairline cracks on my exhaust manifold...i'm worried about going to somerset end of july with this things appearing...would you recommend to just re-inforced it with welding it by a local garage? or totally buy a second hand?..is that thing repairable?

Personally I'd just get another second hand. The cracks could be worse than you could see and its peace of mind then that its done properly.

There cheap enough so grab another mate, for the money a garage will charge to make it look a mess

Is this a std cast unit or stainless tubular?

Heard of the cheap stainless ones cracking but uncommon for the std cast ones to do it :(

If its a tubular one just get it re welded most places only charge about £20 but if its a standard cast one i think i'd look for a secondhand one as welding on cast never really looks good.

I have a standard manifold off an E6 if you interested or any use to use.
