Exhaust choices help plz

when you say noise, do you mean loud or just looking for a sporty burble?

I'm not a fan of the overly loud but guess thats cause im an old git - lol!

You cant go wrong with a mongoose or scorpion system for good sound and balanced noise but as for the really loud ones, I dont know;

Lol I kinda want 1 that sounds the bollocks when u start it up , giveing it boost and sitting at the line at santapod lol Iv got a hks super drager at the mo and it doesent do nothing for me so what ever I get has to sound a lot better then that ; )

Ive had full jap speed exhausts on my old scoob and now the 5. Great exhausts for the money and never had any problems.

got the nur spec on my 9 its the dogs!! best sound and sets most car alarms off when you drive by in multi story car parks and at the side of the road!! too loud for track days though on tick over 110 db so if you fancy doing that do NOT get it!!!!

I wanted something different and went for the Full 3" Turbo back C-TEC system including elbow and decat and I am really glad I have! The Quality is amazing and the noise is perfect for me (but not if you live in a built up housing estate or want to wake the dead)

Magnex turbo back with 3inch rolled tip would be my choice

Miltek wins hands down.
Excellent quality and a nice tone from the 5" tail too. True 3" system unlike some. Noisy but not as noisy as a nurspec

I was also looking at changing my exhaust. I have a super dragger on at the moment with a full 3 inch decat.

I have seen a couple up for sale I like the look of, one is the Scorpion and the other is Cobra. Are they much the same for power and sound.

How much louder will they be from the super dragger.

Don't easy your money on the scorpion, the fit is rubbish and will give you no end of grief

Thanx for all the intresting points there , I'm defernatly swaying towards the c-tec the more I'm reading . Dnt suppose any1 has any vids of the 9 with 1 do they ? Just to get an idea of the noise ? Cheers

I have a HKS Silent high power and a middle decat with standard down pipe on my VIII 260 gives a lovely sound on idle with a deep burble but not too noisy until u get to full chat where it sounds very nice indeed lol had a few complaints off my neighbours but they put up with it lol
