Just some cars I've been trying to buy. I want the red e7 but unfortunately wont pass the SVA test and can't really afford to wait till next year when it is over 10 years old Also not too keen on the inside colour coded red!

All it needs is the MR headlights :thinking:

was going for the first one but unfortunately wasn't confirmed it was a TME so I missed out Sunroof model too. It had TME seats, bumper etc. can you believe the blue one has 260,000 km/h on it :shock:

had speedo change and now at 95,000km/h. I will be looking out for this car if it comes to the UK. It is a mint car (grade 4)

Grades don't really matter, the important thing is the SVA!

I had a Pulsar that my brother sent me some years back and it could not get SVA'd so I had it sitting for around a year and a half, in the end, I broke it and got 3 times it's value!!!

For some though, it would be a real head ache.

Nope, you just need to have the money available when the auction ends and an arrangement for the shipping, if not, the auctioneers can arrange it all for you!

Some auctions do charge extortionate fees for their services as well as high prices on end fees too so it helps if you look into it all, well in advance.

What are sva s?

SVA stands for Single Vehicle Approval.

Some times it is very difficult to qualify an import vehicle as you require all the documentation relating to the vehicle such as, for example, the details listed on the V5 certificate incorporating the weight, chassis type etc.

You also require evidence pertaining to the car being imported legally (not stolen etc.) which is supplied by way of JUMVEA.

It may also be worth noting that the pound is not good at the moment and the Evo's are holding relatively good value in Japan which means that it is not really a good time to get into imports right now as you will not get a bargain worth bragging about.

I was plannin to bid on the redun but my contact over there told me it was expected to fetch more then the pennies I am used to spendin so I went for 2 evo 2's and a Glanza to make up the space in the container! The first one looked good, not too sure on the blueun though.
